Tarheel News is the official publication of the North Carolina Chapter Healthcare Financial Management Association. Tarheel News is published at least four times per year with a maximum of six times per year.

The North Carolina Chapter has organized itself using the “Matrix” concept. The Matrix concept involves several councils and committees, and is graphically portrayed as a checkerboard or Matrix. Within the Matrix, the North Carolina Chapter has six councils.

The NCHFMA continues to promote the field of Healthcare Management by awarding scholarships to outstanding students or HFMA members seeking a degree and career in Healthcare Financial Management or a related field.

The 2011 Annual Pinehurst Meeting presentations are available under documents. You must be signed into the web site to gain access.

If not an HFMA member, click on national website and become a member first, then return to the NCHFMA web site.·

If you have not signed into the web site before, the process is relatively simple:

At the logon button, enter user name and password, and follow the instructions.

A Web administrator will receive your request via email, verify HFMA membership and approve access. At some later time, return to the NCHFMA web site for member access.
